After a long winter, spring has finally sprung and summer will be here soon! But before you open the windows to let in that fresh spring air, you must clean them first. May is the we are talking about spring cleaning! If you are planning on selling your home, spring cleaning is an important task you should take. Setting aside time each year to deep clean your home is important to keep your home healthy, organized, and happy. Here are some tips to help you along the way.
Through spring cleaning, you can remove dust, mold, and mildew before it becomes a major problem. Giving your entire home a run through is important so start with tasks that apply to all rooms like:
· Power wash your siding, deck & patio areas.
· Clean windows & screens
· Have your furnace ducts cleaned.
· Have your central A/C serviced
· Change your batteries in all your smoke detectors
· Clean above cabinets & those forgotten areas
· Have your carpets steam cleaned,
· Clean all large appliances, small appliances, and surfaces in your kitchen
Get out there and enjoy the nice weather! Spring cleaning can be fun, get the whole family involved!
